100 Great Black Women Speak Exhibition

We begin our 100 Great Black Women Speak Exhibition with our launch on 8th October 2021. Our exhibition features 20 fabulous Black women through video performance, headshots, and bios. Over course of the next year an exhibition of 20 becomes 100 when we celebrate our 100 Great Black Women Speaking in a years’ time on October 8th, 2022.

100 Black Women Speak is a celebration of Black women and girls across the globe.

100 Black Women Speak is a celebration of the Voices of Black women and girls of all ages with something to say.

A window on the present, past, and future through the voice of the individual.

An expression of the extraordinary ordinary lives of Black women.

100 Black Women Speak is a celebration of Black is a Living Black History.

A snapshot of Great Black Women from October 2021 to October 2022.

Do you want to be involved or submit a piece?

From a story to anecdote, spoken word to formal poetry. From singing to rap, dance to animation we want to hear from you, document and share your extraordinary, ordinary living Black history. The filmed pieces can be submitted in whichever format is most convenient: it can be as simple as phone footage, a YouTube upload, or a link to a website.
