BOB for Organisations

Learning With Your Organisation

We currently work with MTVH, LB Lambeth, Peabody, NHS Health Education England, Black Cultural Archives and Councils including Westminster, Harrow, Southwark, Islington, Richmond and Wandsworth. The programme delivers 14 sessions over 7 months and includes support to identify and apply for board positions.

Black on Board is for everyone; for staff at entry level through to senior management.

Since 2018, 271 people have completed Black on Board and we have maintained a success rate of 75% of our students obtaining a governance position. During 2023 a further 200 people will have completed the course.

Past partners include Presentation HA, Notting Hill Genesis, LB Enfield, DCLG.

We have a track record of supporting 75% of students into governance positions for every programme run over 10 years.

“Black on Board gave me the courage and skills to pursue a Board position, coming along with me step by step from application to interview. It also made me feel very valued, because the organisation [MTVH] is investing in me to achieve my own goals.”
- Somaya Tousi

Our Black on Board delegates have had a life changing experience and further developed their confidence and knowledge. They have given themselves permission to be powerful and pursue the opportunities ahead of them.
