Laurel joined Olmec in 2023 as a Project Administration Officer, bringing experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and community outreach. She has supported the delivery of multiple training and leadership programmes, including Black on Board and Step Change. Laurel holds a first-class degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Sussex and has a background in facilitation, research, and data analysis. Alongside her role at Olmec, she is part of the core team at Brighton Book Festival and facilitates training sessions on topics such as community engagement and environmental risk.
