On the 30th September 2016, a Rise into Employment graduation ceremony and launch event was held at Royal Bank of Scotland’s Bishopgate office to recognise and celebrate the achievements of recent Rise Programme participants and Switch On Digital Inclusion Programme beneficiaries.
The event was hugely moving and inspirational; hosted by Omar Kahn, Chair of Olmec with speeches from John Mayford, Olmec CEO, Cedric Boston, CEO Arhag and Rise beneficiaries.
Cedric Boston, CEO Arhag presented certificates of achievements to Rise into Employment and Swicth On graduates.
Annetta Bennett, Olmec Ambassador introduced the Chick Peas Sisters film and delivered an inspirational performance of Maya Angelou’s ‘And still I Rise’ poem. The evening was wrapped up with a buffet and networking.
