Work experience
Olmec provides support to individuals in gaining work experience positions.
The work experience positions are designed to be as real to life as possible. Each step of the process should bring volunteers closer to the employment market. The application and interview stages will help to familiarise volunteers with the recruitment process and increase their confidence.
The position gives the opportunity to work in a real professional environment and develop skills within a secure and supportive environment. Work experience positions last between three and six months. Volunteers will have travel and lunch expenses reimbursed. During the work experience, volunteers will be supported through a Learning and Development Plan.
Further in-house training and support will be provided during the work experience. Volunteers will have access to regular vacancies through a newsletter and one to one employment support.
